Qyliq is based in Edgware, in North West London. If meeting in person matters to you, we cover Edgware, Stanmore, Harrow, Mill Hill, Hendon, Finchley, Barnet, Borehamwood, Elstree and Watford, and into central London and the City. Two of the sites above belong to a private clinic in Elstree and a dance school with venues across Essex.

Do I need a website redesign?
Three signs say yes. The site was built more than three years ago, so it predates AI search and the engines that now recommend businesses cannot read it. Pages take more than three seconds to show anything on a phone. Or the site gets visitors and the phone still does not ring, which is a structure problem rather than a design one. There is no league table of the best web design companies or agencies in the UK worth trusting, and we will not put ourselves in one. What is the 3 second rule in web design?
The rule of thumb that a visitor decides within about three seconds whether a page is worth staying on, so the thing they came for has to be visible by then. On a slow mobile connection a template site can take far longer: one studio website we rebuilt took 16 seconds to load before the rebuild and under a second after it. What are the 7 C's of a website?
A planning checklist from the early 2000s that still holds up: context (how the site looks and is laid out), content (what it says), community (how customers interact), customisation (how it adapts to the visitor), communication (how the business talks to the visitor), connection (links to other sites and services) and commerce (how it takes money or enquiries). How long does a website build take?
Most Qyliq builds take six to eight weeks from kick-off to launch. Research takes the first two weeks, design the next two, the build around three, and launch with its preflight audit lands in week eight. Bigger sites with more pages or custom functionality take longer, and the timeline is fixed in the proposal with the price.

What is the difference between a template website and a bespoke build?
A template site (WordPress themes, Squarespace, Wix) shares its code and structure with thousands of other sites, and most ship without the structured data, llms.txt summary or AI-crawler access that lets an engine read and recommend a business. A bespoke site is designed and coded for your content, your buyers and your keywords, loads faster because there is nothing in it you do not need, and belongs to you. Bespoke costs more up front and usually less over three years, because nothing has to be rebuilt to make it rank.
